תיאור הספר
EXTREMELY RARE compilation of all 51 weekly issues published in 1894 of the Jewish periodical "Jüdische Volkszeitung". The publication was edited by Nathan Birnbaum, the nationalist Jewish-German writer who coined the term "Zionism". The publication, as the name implies, attempts to deal with everything Jewish, and includes literary works, articles and news items. 310x220mm. Inconsistent pagination (around 8 pages per issue). Black quarter-cloth Hardcover. Cover worn, stained, rubbed and bumped. Cover edges and corners bumped and worn/peeling. Spine worn and partly peeling or missing. Sticker residues on spine. Pen inscriptions on whitepage and first title page. Library stamps on whitepage and title pages. Few page edges tattered - NO damage to text. Some pages torn but neatly restored. Pages browning. [SUMMARY]: Despite the damage it has sustained, this rare Jewish publication is still in good reading condition.
