The dedicatee is an eminent Israeli art scholar Moshe Barasch (1920-2004) - author of many studies in the history of art and recipient of the first Israel Prize in art history. Contains many color and b&w plates, a chronology of Ingre`s life and exhibitions, as well as a comprehensive research bibliography. 300x225mm. VI+114 pages. Semi-rigid beige Softcover. Front cover dirty. Rear cover edges and spine slightly peeling. Spine edges bumped. Spine bottom edge slightly torn on rear hinge and wrinkled. Pages bottom corner slightly water-stained/wrinkled - NO damage to plates or text. [SUMMARY]: This rare catalog of an Ingres` life drawings and a postcard with signed dedication by the author, who was an influential 20th-century painter, is in good condition.
