Facsimile edition of an illustrated bilingual Haggadah published in mid-19th century Trieste: the first Haggadah in the history of Hebrew printing to make use of lithographs. The Haggadah feature numerous b/w illustrations and text decorations. The final page features musical notes for the Passover hymns. The Hebrew text appears parallel to the Italian translation. 245X175mm, 64 pages. Yellow hardcover with tan cloth spine. [CONDITION:] All cover edges and corners lightly worn. Front-cover worn near bottom edge. Small marking in pen on front end-paper. Otherwise, this lovely Haggadah is in very good condition.
