This is the TEXT part ONLY, thoroughly describing the discoveries in words and explaining their mythological and historical backgrounds, but containing very few illustrations and photographs compared to the other volumes. 320x260mm, VIII+100+IX pages. Dark tan cloth hardcover with embossed silver lettering and emblem of the Nizam of Hyderabad. [CONDITION:] Front and rear covers heavily faded towards edge, affecting 1/3 of each cover, possibly due to past sunlight exposure or mold damage (now gone). Tiny stain in middle of last few pages - NO DAMAGE TO IMAGES. [SUMMARY:] The book is in good, solid condition.
