Front cover beautifully illustrated in black and gilt. Cover slightly worn. Cover corners worn and bumped. Binding loose and visible between frontispiece and title page, and pages 330-331. Binding curved. Spine stained. Ex libris on front inner cover. Ex library copy with stamps. Ink inscription on frontispiece verso. Small ink inscription on title page upper corner/edge. Illustration between pages 8-9 slightly torn at fore edge - NO damage to plate. Text block edges yellowing and age-stained. Few pages slightly age-stained. Pages slightly yellowing. [SUMMARY]: This rare early English translation of Jules Verne`s stories is in good reading condition. Plates in good condition!
