RARE 19th-century edition of Albargeloni`s "Azharot" - a poetic Hebrew text detailing the 613 Mitzvahs, which is customarily read by North African Jews during the first day of the Shavuot holiday. This edition was published by Solomon Belforte, a famous Hebrew publisher in Leghorn. This edition also features other ritual texts for Shavuot, including Ibn-Gebirol`s version of the Azharot, the book of Ruth and the Mincha prayer. The title page features a handsome decorative frame. 130x200mm. 68 double pages. Blue velvet Hardcover. Cover worn and detached from binding. Spine edges bumped. Whitepage and title page detached. Tape residues on endpapers and whitepage. Title page and page 5 edges partly torn. Pages 1-4 missing. Pages yellowing. [SUMMARY]: Despite the aforementioned damage, this old edition of the poetic text is in good condition for reading. Due to its condition, we offer the book for a reduced price.
