EXTREMELY RARE. A book of poems written by Fanny Baumel, with the express purpose of attracting women to the stories of the Torah, to which they were not directly exposed at the time. Baumel wrote one poem for each Parasha in the Torah. Baumel herself acknowledges the unusual nature of this endeavour in her foreward, apologizing for her "audacity" in writing such a book. The book was printed in 1936 in Oradea, Romania, with the blessing of Oradea`s Chief Rabbi Benjamin Fuchs, who died the same year.
