One of his main aims in publishing the `Jüdisches Volksblatt` was the emancipation of his Jewish fellow men, while at the same time to entertain and tighten the Jewish population to its culture. Text in Gothic lettering (Fraktur). 275x220mm. 208 pages. Rebound brown quarter cloth Hardcover with marbled boards. Cover slightly scratched and faded. Cover edges and corners bumped and peeling. Spine stained. Sticker residues on spine upper part. Spine edges and hinges peeling. Previous owner`s name ("Lazarus Fränkel") written in ink on whitepage. Library copy with stamps.
