The chapters dealing with Jewish medieval philosophical doctrines and beliefs concerning immortality are preceded by an introductory chapter dealing with belief in immortality in the Bible and Talmud; the appendix deals with the relation of Jewish medieval philosophers` teaching on immortality, compared with the prevailing philosophical traditions on the same subject, mainly Platonic and Aristotelic. Three first pages, pages 15-18 and rear whitepage detached from the rest of the pages, which are somewhat loosely bound. Page 11 upper edge taped - NO damage to text. Several pages dog-eared. Rear whitepage edges worn. Pages yellowing, some pages slightly age-stained. [SUMMARY]: Though in need of some external restoration, the inside of this book is preserved very well; accordingly this extremely rare book is still in good reading condition.
