NUMBERED COPY #13 of 110 copies, SIGNED by Avigdor Arikha, and including an ORIGINAL FULL-PAGE SKETCH by Arikha personally dedicated (in Hebrew) to "Spitzer" on 26 Feb. 1955. Also includes a loose "Happy New Year" greeting card with printed drawing by Arikha on exterior and greeting from Alix and Guy de Rothschild inside. Contains 8 lithographs by Arikha, each signed, tipped onto paper leaves with text on exterior and blank on interior. 300x300mm, unpaginated. Contained inside illutrated black board hardcover. Also includes protective wax-paper dust-jacket. [CONDITION:] Wax-paper dust-jacket frayed near spine top and bottom. Folder cover spine top missing small piece. All pages lightly browned, including Arikha`s dedicated original drawing, but ALL 8 LITHOGRAPHS CLEAN AND PRISTINE. Included greeting card also completely clean. [SUMMARY:] Despite light browning and some damage to the other covers, the signed Arikha artwork is in excellent condition.
