RARE Passover Haggadah with commentary by the MAHARAL of Prague, Rabbi Yehuda Leove ben Bezalel. The original Haggadah text is presented in full, across from an English translation by Shlomo Mallin. The commentary appears below the main text, also in English. Included in the book is an English translation of the entire lecture delivered by the Maharal on Shabbat Hagadol of 1588. The book begins and ends with a "Prelude" by Aryeh Carmell, in English. Though most of the text is in English, the book is arranged in a RIGHT-TO-LEFT reading order. 245x180 mm, XXI+384 pp. Peach-colored cloth hardcover with illustrated tan dust-jacket. [CONDITION:] Dust-jacket top edge very slightly bumped. First ~50 pages wavy along top edge, but otherwise clean and pristine. [SUMMARY:] A rare edition of a unique commentary, in very good condition despite light moisture damage.
