RARE book of short essays (Fragmente) on the history of the Jewish community in Vienna by the Austrian writer Gerhard Robert Walter von Coeckelberghe-Dützele (1786-1857), who also wrote under the pseudonyms: Realis and Severin. He is best remembered today for his main work - the two-volume `Curiositäten- und Memorabilienlexikon von Wien` (1846). Includes frontispiece of the "Juden-Thurm" ("The tower of Jews") in Austria.
