Cover very worn, bumped and peeling. Cover edges and corners bumped and peeling. Spine heavily rubbed and wrinkled. Spine front hinge bottom part torn. Spine lettering slightly peeling. Inner cover age-stained. Ink inscriptions on title pages. Binding slightly visible on front inner cover and between the two volumes. Pencil inscriptions on some pages. Pages yellowing and age-stained. [SUMMARY]: Despite the aforementioned damage, this important historical work is intact and in good reading condition.
