This is a selection of 50 erotic dialogs from the larger "Douze Douzains de Dialogues" (12 dozens dialogs) by the French poet Pierre Louys. Each of the dialogues appears next to a monochrome, caricature-style explicit illustration by the established early- and mid-20th century illustrator of erotica André Collot. The leaves are not bound; rather, each four leaves form a separate piece of 2 illustrated dialogs. The insides of the dust jacket are engraved F.Barjon, identifying this exemplar as one of those numbered 151 to 230. 230x165mm. Unpaginated. Unbound pages laid in semi-rigid softcover with dust-jacket. Cover yellowing and slightly dirty, cover edges wrinkled. Cover and spine edges/hinges rubbed. Spine front hinge bottom part cracked.
