FIRST EDITION. EXTREMELY RARE! Volume 2 out of 4 volume book on prayer and theology that was quite popular in its time. It was written, at first anonymously, by early Jewish reformer Samson Wolf Rosenfeld. The book is a Jewish adaptation of the similarly-titled Christian book "Stunden der Andacht zur Beförderung wahren Christenthums und häuslicher Gottesverehrung" by the German author Heinrich Zschokke. Like the original, this adaptation was written in order to propagate religious rationalism and reform religion in the spirit of the European enlightenment.
