Front cover slightly dirty (mostly dust-stained), rear cover stained. Cover corners bumped and worn. Cover edges slightly worn, rear cover upper edge slightly stained. Bump-mark on rear cover. Spine worn, spine bottom edge tattered, spine upper edge missing and taped. Glue residues on spine hinges. First and second whitepage edges tattered, partly torn and stained. Title-page edge slightly stained. Previous owner`s small stamp (some stamps with pen marks) on bottom corner of pages 13, 19, 27,55, 73, 81, 121, 132, 183, 225, 233, 257 and 285. Bottom corner of pages 25, 135 and 167 missing. Several last pages bottom edge water-stained (no damage to text or illustrations). Several page edges slightly dirty. Pages yellowing, some pages slightly age-stained. [SUMMARY]: This extremely rare beautifully illustrated history of a most exotic and interesting country has suffered some damage, but is still in good reading condition, and all illustrations are in good condition.
