Spine missing. Spine bottom edge stained. Binding loose and almost split in several places throughout the book. Two stickers on front inner cover. Several pages dog-eared. Most pages upper corner near spine slightly creased. Pages rough-cut as published. Pages yellowing and slightly age-stained. [SUMMARY]: This extremely rare study on the Jew in history and legend by noted scholar of Jewish history and literature has suffered considerable damage to binding and cover, but being internally clean and complete, it is still in good reading condition.
