RARE SIX ISSUES of the religious periodical "Hamisdarona", published by Chajim Hirschensohn, one of the founders of the Hebrew revival movement and one of the great thinkers of Religious Zionism; he later became the Rabbi of the New Jersey community. The periodical, published in the 1880s, deals with questions regarding the Hebrew language and the Jewish Halachah, in the spirit of the "Wissenschaft des Judentums" movement. This volume contains the fifth, seventh, eighth, ninth and tenth issues of the first year (1886) and the first issue of the third year (1889). 235x155mm.
