RARE 1885 printing of the popular HEBREW play "Meluchat Shaul" (Reign of Saul), written in the late 18th century. The play, which dramatizes the rivalry between David and Saul, won great popularity among the Jewish public in the 19th century, and was printed in several editions, in the original Hebrew and in Yiddish translation, in Eastern and Central Europe.
