תיאור הספר
IN HEBREW. EXTREMELY RARE mid-18th century edition of "Perush al Ha-Torah" (commentary on the Pentateuch) by Jacob ben Asher, one of the most influential Rabbies of the middle ages, known mostly for his works on Jewish Law ("Halacha"). The book includes the imprimatur of the Chief Rabbi and Chief Judge of the Jewish community in Ansbach. 190x160mm. 87 double pages. Brown quarter-leather Hardcover. Page edges dyed. Cover worn/peeling and slightly curved. Cover edges bumped and peeling. Spine worn and pierced at several places. Spine upper edge missing. Binding slightly visible at endpapers. Title page missing. Preface page torn at several places, but has been taped together with minimal damage to text. Pages yellowing, wavy and somewhat water-stained. [SUMMARY]: This extremely rare book is in good reading condition and is offered for a significantly reduced price.
