Facsimile edition of an illustrated bilingual Haggadah published in mid-19th century Trieste: the first Haggadah in the history of Hebrew printing to make use of lithographs. The Haggadah feature numerous b/w illustrations and text decorations. The final page features musical notes for the Passover hymns. The Hebrew text appears parallel to the Italian translation. 245X175mm, 64 pages. Yellow quarter-cloth hardcover. Cover worn and stained. Cover corners bumped. Back cover bumped. Pages yellowing, with wine stains on pages 24-25. Despite the wear to its cover, this lovely Haggadah is in good condition.
