This book, first published in 1925, was republished in a limited deluxe edition for the tenth anniversary of the state of Israel in 1958. All copies of this edition are printed by hand, on high-quality hand-made paper. The book contains 22 mounted plates with b&w photo-etchings depicting scenes in the old city of Jerusalem or examples of architecture inside the city`s walls. Each etching is protected by a layer of transparent foil. 315x260mm. 26 double pages. Off-white fake leather Hardcover with embossed lettering. Cover slightly dirty. Rear cover bottom corner slightly bumped. Page edges rough-cut and wavy as published. Small sticker on front inner cover bottom corner. Endpapers age-stained. Pages lightly yellowing.
