Extremely rare! Second edition of "Migdal Oz", a theater play by Moshe Chayim Luzzatto, known for his powerful and poetic use of Neo-Hebrew. This edition was edited, annotated and prefaced by notable German-Jewish scholars of the Haskalah movement. 200X125mm, VI+4+100 pages. Rebound in beige cloth hardcover. Cover slightly stained and slightly worn. Pen and pencil marks on Latin title page. Sticker and stamps on Hebrew title page and page 15. Few pen inscriptions throughout the book. Pages yellowing. Despite the aforementioned damage, the book is in good condition.
